Shamita Shetty speaks about how she is prepared to entertain her fans while on Bigg Boss 15
After her impressive stint on Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita Shetty is all set to participate in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 15. The actress finished as the second runner-up in her appearance of the OTT show, and she is now geared up to win BB15. In an interview with the Indian Express, Shamita opened up about her journey, facing class bias and her equation with Raqesh Bapat.
The actress said that she is prepared to take on the other contestants who might come prepared to trigger her. The 42-year-old actress revealed how she intends to entertain her fans, considering she was last seen on Bigg Boss OTT.
“I wish I was the sort of person that makes such strategies. I live one day at a time, and I will be the same person in the house. I just want to come out as the best version of myself. Above all, everything depends on what kind of situations I am thrown into,” she said.
Shamita also spoke about the allegations of the makers being biased towards her. She said, “Honestly, this is something you have to ask Colors why they reached out to me again. I must have done something right. Even I had put in so much hard work during Bigg Boss OTT. It hasn’t been easy, emotionally and mentally.”
Shamita is known to work hard and the actress pointed out that she would love to win the trophy for BB15. She added, “I think I am so tired of being part of reality shows and standing like a prop in the top three. I think some people believe I don’t need to win this but let me tell you, it is very important to me, and I want to win.”
When speaking about facing class bias on the show, the actress asserted, “It’s a battle I have fought all my life. It’s not a big deal for me to face it again for a few months.”
About her connection with Raqesh Bapat, she revealed, “We did not get a lot of time together as we both were busy with our own families. Also, I think it’s too early to talk about the connection as we both want to spend time knowing each other in the real world. I would also have loved for him to come along but he has work commitments. I think only after Bigg Boss 15, we will get time to know where it’s heading.”
Bigg Boss 15 premiered on Saturday night. While Jay Bhanushali, Umar Riaz, Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra, Vidhi Pandya, Donal Bisht, Vishal Kotian, Afsana Khan, Simba Nagpal, Sahil Shroff, Akasa Singh, and Ieshaan Sehgaal were introduced on October 2, the second part of the grand premiere will see Bigg Boss OTT’s Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat and Shamita Shetty joining on Sunday.
